Through the elegant bar and dining room, the floor to ceiling windows lead onto the fantastic terrace and deck. Centre stage is a wonderful old umbrella pine tree, rumored to be over 200 years old, its graceful branches forming a natural canopy over the deck - a fantasy island of natural elements to perfectly complement the naturally gourmet food.
Sitting at the deck bar, sip a cocktail (delicious exclusive mojitos) while perusing the menu. Meat is what it is all about at Parrilla Natural. The meat is 100% Uruguayan grass fed beef - organic, low in fat, high in Omega 3 and Vitamin E and totally delicious. The meat is cooked on the custom built grill - the Parrilla - over firewood, not charcoal. With the attention to detail that makes this an exceptional restaurant, they don't use just any old firewood at Parrilla Natural. The wood is a very particular type that comes from the Alentejo region of Portugal, north of the Algarve. If you can drag yourself away from the deck, you can opt to sit at the grill table and watch the chefs expertly grill up the cuts of meat.
Aside from beef the menu also features chicken and fish dishes, as well as vegetarian options. There are some typical South American side dishes and sauces too. And you can discover the well stocked wine cellar with a large selection of wines from Uruguay. There is a special menu for children. And thinking of younger clients, there is a great play area for children at Parilla Natural - as well as those huge gardens to run around in.
